Wet Flanel
Jan. 17th, 2007 05:45 pmVery wet day yesterday doing this leaflet check job for Fieldflair. Quite miserable day infact, although met GC at her home for a quick coffee to get out of the rain for awhile. Well completed it but glad to get home - felt like a wet flanel.
Picked up from Fopp "The Complete Bitches Brew Sessions" by Miles Davis (4CD box set) for only £17.00,and from Sandpiper Books "Castles In The Air",The Story of Gil Evans" by Larry Hicock (Da Capo hardback) for £5.
Discovered that through Valued Opinions online Oxford Research are doing a survey onl the net on behalf of Kelloggs - so another bastard company has joined the ranks of on-line research companies. Where will it end? What do we interviewers do in the face of such stuff. Well i did the bugger survey out of curiosity - but what a boring subject. Yawn!!
This morning had to leave early for a meeting ,well briefing infact,in Walthamstow on behalf of Plus 4 for a local business survey. The meeting was at 10..30 AM and i left home about 7.30 AM this morning to get there ,and guess who came to the same meeting (late though) the detestable Andy Parr. I will start the job sometime next week. Hopefully on days that would avoid meeting him!
Tonight a PRS at The Pressure Point.
