FREE Meals and Free Cinema
Jan. 15th, 2007 07:20 pmSunday Lorna and I had a free meal on behalf of my mystery shopping company TNS at The Katarina Beefeater Pub down at the Marina, and i didn't realise til i read the brief that we could spend up to £40 on the meal - yippee !! So when we arrived and sat down to have our wonderfully full lunch i had potato and leek soup starter, mexican style 8oz. premium rump steak and profitteroles with ice cream and hot chocolate sauce washed down with two large Blossom Hill Merlot red. Lorna had musroom and cheese melt followed by roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, with a bacardi and coke, and just a cappucino.
What a feast. Sometimes things can be free - well we only paid £4.96 on top as the bill came to a total of £44.96, life can be sweet.
Even better freebies, when later on i came with GC to help her out on her cinema trailer check at the Connaught Theatre in Worthing, but her letter of introduction said that the researcher would leave after the trailers. Well as we both wanted to see a film i used tippex to blot out that bit of the letter and made two photocopies, one for each of us, and we blagged our way into seeing "Casino Royale" for free after noting down the trailers before the film. Whoopie! A great film - very thrilling.
AND IT WAS FREE!!
