Did a DJ visit PRS this evening at Aqua (in the Marina). Met John M the DJ, a nice affable guy too. Had to listen to some inane disco and house music (most was crap anyway) but some oldies too which were top notch like Candi Staton's "Young Hearts Run Free" ,"Billie Jean" by Micheal Jackson, and "September" by Earth Wind And Fire.It turns out that John is a big soundtrack fan and esp.Italian soundtracks from such people as Ennio Morricone,Nino Rota and Goblin to name a few. I gave him my email address and LJ site moniker so that we could keep in touch and i could join the Italian movie soundtrack blogsite by an invitation from him.

Earlier in London doing two surveys ,one in Wimbledon and then Mortlake, picking up a cheque along the way and visiting my usual Notting Hill stop to exchange some stuff for two CDs - Prima Materiia with Rashied Ali "Bells" (Knitting Factory Works 1996) and Various Artists"How Low Can You Go"(Dust To Digital 2006) - a 3CD set of an anthology of the string bass between 1926 to 1941.

Well very tired now - at least tomorrow i can have a lie-in.
