Bank Charges (Once Again)

Well another letter from the bank and another reply. In their defence they try to claim that their charges are fair and competitive, and in my prosecution I am stating that they are totally inappropiate to the cost of an automatic generated letter which costs no more than a few quid for them to produce. I have dangled a carrot for quick payment by giving a discount to settle pronto otherwise by seven days time without further warning i will take them to court and add costs on top as well. Nope,they are trying to delay the processs until the OFT decision which is expected on April 6th,and i am not allowing them to worm their way out of this.

A Rootin' Tooting' Funeral

Tomorrow we are off to Kent early with my brother  coming42 and his wife to the funeral of my Aunt Betty - so not the most fun of days but al least the wake should be good and maybe a bit raucous (well hopefully). You know funerals shouln't be sad things - they should be a celebration of a good life like the way they celebrate in New Orleans - with hot jazz and rootin' tootin' music with gaudy coours ,not sombre black.

I am getting behind with work and this jaunt off to Kent hasn't helped. I will alter my answering machne message tonight to something like "we are not taking calls at the moment due to a funeral tomorrow and not in the mood to reply" to deflect any "has this work been done" calls,esp. from the EB and others.

Sunday picked up the latest Brighton resident duo Semiconductor DVD from Resident "Worlds In Flux" (Fat Cat) and so far of the videos and installations i have watched it's a corker. It is also been reviewed in the latest WIRE magazine.

Another DVD i have added to the wants list is the recent BFI DVD of the Quay Brothers and their remarkable animations.
