Excuses

So far no reply from the bank and it looks I will have to go to court now as we have reached this stage.Disapointed by their stubborn attitude and inflexibliy to come to a settlement.

On other fronts,still awaiting a cheque from FRA for work done at the beginning of February which at the latest i should have receieved on the 15th.Usual excuse of computers breaking down and unable to do the pay run (blah blah) but that was the same excuse they used last time,and on Friday when i phoned they said it would be posted that day.Post has been and still no sign of cheque,but i will wait til tomorrow's post and if it hasn't arrived then i will blast them some angry words!! I bet the cheapskates sent it second class and we all know how long second class post takes - let alone so-called first class.

Been sneezing alot but can't seem to find the First defence since L borrowed it last when she had a cold. Sniffing somewhat - or is just such a cold day today?

"A Tory councillor who sold a woman with learning difficulties for sex has been given a 12-month suspended jail sentence. Alan Burkitt, of West Bromwich, in the West Midlands, advertised the woman on the internet to help pay his mortgage. More than 20 men paid for her services at his home while he sat in the room next door.
Prosecutor Stuart Clarkson told Wolverhampton Crown Court the woman had mild learning disabilities and an IQ of 52.
He said men paid her £50 for intercourse and over several months she earned around £1,300.
Burkitt, of Beaconview Road, claimed the woman, who cannot be named, consented to the work.
He also claimed he advertised himself on the same website, but did not attract much interest.
The 47-year-old represents Charlemont with Grove Vale ward for Sandwell Council.
He pleaded guilty to causing or inciting prostitution."
