On Sunday the sun came out a little while this morning but then it soon turned cold again and i should have had warmer clothes on. Still finished the job failrly quick so that i could get into somewhere warm and have a nice pint of beer.

Today has been warmer and sunnier and L and i went out for a morning coffee treat before she went to work.

Picked up a copy of The Fringe Festival guide and scanned it quickly and already it has proven to be far more interesting than the disappointing main Festival guide,so now i can look forward to May for some live events.

Picked up two stonking bargains for £5 each from Borderline , "Japanese Independent Music" (Sonore Book + CD) with exclusive tracks by Keiji Haino , KK Null, The Ruins, Acids Motherd Temple and the Melting Paraiso UFO, Haco and lots more (originally  £23.99) and  the book "Taboo Tunes , A History of Banned Bands & Censored Songs" by Peter Blecha (Backbeat) which was originally £16 retail.

Bargains don't come better than these usually

Review of the Jap Independent Music book at my WEIRDSOUNDZ site.

On Saturday the return of DR.WHO for the third series in the excellent revamp of this classic sci fi series. He has a new companion as well.  I shall be glued to the TV set come Saturday early evening!!
