Just watched some British Transport Films via LOVEFILM, the BFi collection "Off The Rails".
Earlier today i completed a leaflet check survey in Hove. It was a glorious sunny day and most people were positvely welcoming.
Yesterday evening I watched the Coen Brothers' "Blood Simple" on DVD, and i still haven't got round to watching "Une Femme Est Ume Femme" again.
Saturday after an early start to get to Crawley at 6.20 pm to do the NHS bus survey i completed some mystery shops for TNS at Pret A Manger (a coffee and a sandwich), at Cafe Nero (fruit booster and snack) and for KGS a mystery shop at electronics store Maplins in London Road.
Then in the evening took L with me to do a mystery shop at The International Casino Clun in Preston Street. We had a bar meal of burger and chips and a coke, and she won £10 on the casino machine. Didn't play any live backgammon,or on the roulette table, just observed.
This morning came up with more alternative euphanisms for some of the market research companies i have worked for , so here is my alternate list -
ORA - 'Orrible Rank Attrocities
KGS - Knockout Great Surveys
ORC - Organised Random Chaos
UKFS - Unuseable Krappy Foul Surveys
MRUK - Market Research under the Kosh
IFC - Irksome Financial Cobblers - or -
Independently Failed Credit
and for the mystery shopping side
TNS - Totally Nutty Shoppings
If i think of others i shall jot them down.
