Andrew Keen Wikipedia and Bloggers
Jul. 24th, 2007 08:17 amI don't know what you think of Andrew keen but his recent book and an article inta recent Guardian has stireed up a hornets nest. Personally speaking I think he is somewhat wrong and possibly smiting at the fact that his company dissolved before the end of the first internet bubble burst,whilst others are doing very nicely thankyou. To me there is room for the amateur and that user content generated sites will continue as generally they are free (hence LJ and such like).
Also on the polemical forefront concerns the use of the word "blog" - well Anna i don't find it vulgar anyway and what word would you replace it with - vlog? (virtual logging)
