i have just ordered a book from Amazon and it did not cost a penny as i had used gift certificates obtained from internet market research from Valued Opinions (two £5 vouchers) .So although they (with other MR internet sites) may be responsible for the dip in actual face to face interviewing I use them to obtain such gifts and renumerations. The book I got is "The Power of Okinawa" by John Potter, reviewed in the WIRE ages and ages ago.

Awaiting post to see if that other Leyhaussen cheque comes.

May Leyhaussen burn in the flames of hell - post has been and still no sign of this damn money so another call to Jan Hall is imminent. Agh! It is annoyin, frustrating and exasperating all at the same time.

Our postal service has deteriated badly. A  first class postal item is no longer guaranteed to arrive next day, and now the post ofice says it takes about 1 - 2 days or if you want guaranteed post use their expensive special delvery service. Not olnly thatt but post still gets lost and from one source i know a special delivery item took a week to arrive to its destination. That is probably what happened to my cheque from Leyhaussen.

I contacted Jan Hall and she wrote a new cheque out for me as we spoke on the phone and will post first class to me today. She also put a stop on the previous cheque. But then i don't need this hassle as usually Leyhaussen pay by BACS. They also seemed to have cocked that up as well. Luckily GC got paid for an overdue amount and by BACS. So what is going on with them?

Decided not working them again. Once was enough!!

This is a pcture snagged from a VV forum - my idea of vinyl heaven where it takes two or three days just to go though the stuff.!!!

More vinyl grooves found in Brighton today - all charity shopped naturally.  A Readers Digest LP called "Thrillers" with some great tunes like "Ironside","Kojak Theme" and "Hawaii Five O" to name a few.  An Ann Murray LP for 50p called "Talk It Over In The Morning" (Capitol) and one by Carole King "Rhymes and Reasons" (Ode) for a quid from another charity shop.
