Well post has been but no sign of replacement cheque  from Leyhaussen - but I did have one first class item from Thursday which arrived  today so in theory I should get the cheque Monday!!

One thing that did come quickly as i only ordered it yesterday is that book from Amazon UK paid with the gift certificates from Valued Opinions.

I do find the postal service woefully exasperating at the best of times. In the past it was a first class service but nowadays it is no better than a third world country.

Two things from The Guardian on Friday - first off ,sad to hear the passing of Paul Rutherford, a free improvising trombonist, whose solo trombone CD "Trombolenium" (Emanem) gave me endless hours of pleasure.
