This and That
Jan. 10th, 2008 01:50 pm Market research new ID cards for this year are finally trickling through the post, and this morning had one from 2CV - whom i haven't worked for ages but they still send me one each year. Contacted them and now it looks like there is plenty of work to come so a positive result indeed..
So whilst things are quiet and very tight (financially) at the moment at least the horizon looks rosier.
On one the CDr's that Carlitos gave me on Sunday is a track i vaguely recognised, ad lo and behold, i have it already on the excellent compilation "Swinging Mademoiselles" (Silva Screen CD). Eighteen excellent French ye ye tracks. Pity it is not on LP though.
Just met GC for a quick coffee and a chat. More contact info floated between us to expand the research base. A productive bit of networking over coffee indeed.Then we went up to Waterstones to buy some reading material for her trip to Egypt next Monday for two weeks. Lucky gal.
