African Soul Rebels
Feb. 16th, 2008 09:57 am Last night GC and I went to The Dome to see The African Soul Rebels Tour featuring three acts - the Senegalese artist Awadi, from Mali the wonderful Salif Kieta and top of the bill, Tony Alllen and his brand of Nigerian Afro-funk.
It was a brilliant evenng of music slightly maared at the beginning by people talking behind us so we moved to an area where people came for the music and not to consistantly natter away.
Great evening,lots of beer and felt a bit hungover at first this morning.
Well off to Marina now to do a survey. looks a nice day too.
