Cruisin'

The cold virus is a little better this morning as i listen to Tortoise over dark Turkish coffee and peanut butter on toast.. Haven't played "A Lazarus Taxan" for awhile (the box set with a DVD) and so far haven't bought any new music this year (witha 2008 date on it). No reason except for listening to older stuff which seems to be floating my boat at the moment as the classic Laura Lee LP in the post yesterday.

All the cruise survey is now complete and posted yesterday ,and as they pay quickly expect a cheque in the post next week.

In Hove (Again)

In Hove today offloading some classical CDs at Fine Records,and pucked up Barbara Streisand's "Butterfly" LP for the "Grandma's Hands" track whichis quite cool and funky.

Froom two chairty shops in Hove, Roger Whiitaker "I Don't believe In If Anymore" for the bongo lead "Festival" groover.,and a mintish copy of Tom Jones "13 Smash Hits" (Decca Stereo) to upgrade my mono copy of same album. A quid each too!

Also a 12" single by Roger Troutman "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag" , yep, an update of the James Brown number
