Well done some more deals and got more freebies via VG+ forum.

First off from John Stapleton in a freebie giveaway, just pay the postage, i have coming two Tom Jones LPs,Les Baxter's "La Femme",a Morgan label sampler (and a bit rare) plus a Willie Colon salsa album and a trade with Flytipper (aka Simon or Sie for short) for another Mandingo album "Sacrifice" and a Dizzy Gillespie LP "Melody Lingers On" .He is getting two Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack albums, "In Like Flint/Our Man Flint" and "The Last Run",both fairly recent reissues. The former is a Jap reissue which has put the two Flint soundtracks back to back.

More things to look forward to in the post.

Also some good news on my deceased aunt's property in Eastbourne. It looks like the contracts have gone through so we will be able to get the monies towards the end of this month. My trip to New York looks more likely now.

Charity shopped again and picked six LPs for a quid from the Heart Foundation shop in London Road, and three 45p ones from Wax factor, including another copy of Bert Kaempfert's "six by Six" Lp but a totally different cover and i suspect an import rather than a UK copy.
Won't bore you with the details of the others though.

EDIT -

Might get a Leon Thomas Lp instead of the Dizzy , which is even better.Flying Dutchman was agreat jazz lbel without hardly a duff album. Plus an extra freebie from Sie.

Done another Pret mystery shop down at the East Street branch this time. Had coffee and a spicy falafel wrap. The food is really delicious there and the coffee is just right. A wonderful cafe infact. Best sandwiches and wraps in town i think.

Sorted some old vinyl fo a big swap or trade at VG+,but most likely will do a freebie selction which they just pay the postage for. Getting fed up with albums with just one decent tune on it,although many one trackers will be kept others will not depending on how easy or not it is to find them in the wild.

A quiet day after a few busy ones.

Time clicked by very quickly today. Was going to hove to see Julain at Fine Records but ran out of time. Picked up a Telegraph as they had a voucher to cut out to get 25% off books at Borders,so i popped into the shop this evening and bought the only copy of "Ace Records" by David Stubbs (Black Dog Publishing). Beforehand picked up M Ward's "Post-War" (Matador LP) for only £4 in the Borderline sale.

Tomorrow in Tunbridge Wells for two days doing a survey at Superdrug.
