London Visit
Apr. 5th, 2008 01:04 amInternet and TV are fine now. Lorna phoned to say that TV was working when she arrived home from work,so cancelled the engineer for tomorrow.
Anyway a good day in london. Picked up loads of free albums from VG+ colleagues Willie Fogg and Bongolia. Also a lovely meal at The Goose in Croydon as i did a mystery shop there.
Fopp are still going at Charing Cross as i bought a DVD for six quid there "The Devil and Daniel Johnston".
Beanos is still going, just about. I bought some singles there and three albums including The Singing Postman "Recorded Delivery (Parlophone LP). A bit of a novelty recordd i suppose.
It was nice geting two Timi Yuro albums though from Michael (a.k.a Bongolia) and will complement the on e i have already by her.
I was going to lis them all,but for now will just list the ones i have actually bought this day (not given as freebies).
