Mr Bongo and Terry Callier

A  PRS trip to Lewes last night to see some live jazz at the John Harvey pub with GC. Ususal singer was not around,and they had this lady who could not sing at all,so flat,tuneless and just damn awful. Jandek could have done a better job.

Through the post another cheap CD - Terry Callier "Total Recall" (Mr.Bongo),which is a fine piece of funky modern jazzy soul from a guy who has been doing it for years. This beng the second album i have of his on Brighton's Mr. Bongo label.

Good stuff too. And at less than £2 it was a bargain!!!

Large 45 Singles Haul

 Today picked up over a hundred singles (mostly 80s stuff) fo about six quid .All wrapped up in  mystery bag style so didn't exactly what i woud find. After a big sort out foind some serviceable and great singles (plus a few older ones in minty condition too).
