Re-edited from previous entry.
Screw them. I'm not talking DIY either. Nope, screw those who call my blog "the most boring blog i have read" and those that nitpick the very essence of my scribbles - so what if i use "colleagues" to refer to a group of like-minded vinyl enthusiasts. It is not used in the corporate sense here but in the collegiate sense of a forum of vinyl groove researchers. I will not mention them by name as they know who they are and it would be against the etiquette of good blog behaviour. I am fed up of the constant sniping. Now that rant is off my chest I hope that i don't have to repeat it again in later blogs.
From the forum:
"Dave - hat's off to you for standing firm against the tide. I salute your cool head under fire.... a vibrant, diverse, non-elitist, welcoming and tolerant forum is what we should all aim for..... let's get on with making this place the most eclectic meeting of music-obsessed minds on the net.
Colleagues - get digging - get listening - get writing"
Let this be the final words on it.
Now for something pleaant -
Off to the FTLC (First Tuesday Lunch Club) in an hour for yummy food and convivial conversation.
