Fairly good weekend trawl ,especially with a couple of other Polish Muza label stuff/and a Spooky Tooth LP in great condition.

Various - Jazz Jamboree 79 (Nuza)
Good selection with best track "Carneval" by the Eje Thelin Group

Zbigniew Namtslowski Air Condition - Follow Your Kite (Muza)
Funky fusion from the great Ploish jazzman

Ohio Players - Skin Tight (Mercury)
To me a rather overlooked band and it's a fine funky outting.

Wildrerness Road - s/t (Columbia) - suprisingly good country rock in a CSN&Y style.Took a punt of a quid on it and glad i did.

The Brecker Brothers Band - Back To Back (Arista)
Solid funky fusion album

Stanley Turrentine - Pieces of Dreams (Fantasy)
Initially dsiappointing mellow fusion without too much of the funk.

Piere Henry with Spooky Tooth - Celebration (Phillips)
Brilliant psych-rock album with the elctronics maestro. French original.

Chris mcGreggor's Brotherhood Of Breath - Yes Please (In & Out)
Been on my want list for awhile. Stellar avant-garde jazz with African feeling.

Various Artists - Candy Coloured Dreams (Dig The Fuzz)
Quality popsike compilation

Ron Nagle - Bad Rice (Warner Bros)
Features Ry Cooder on some tracks and produced by Jack Nitsche

Gabor Szabo - Rambler (CTI)
Guitar picking jazz fusion with the tilte track being quite funky.

The Chubukos single and the Willie Bobo version of "Evil Ways" was already mentioned on the midweek thread.

The others are from this weekend haul -

Bill Withers - Harlem / Ain't No Sunshine (Sussex)
Cal Tjader - Evil Ways (Fantasy)
Bob Green - Running and Hiding (Super!)
Les McCann - The Morning Song (Atalntic)
Slave - Slide (Cotillion)
Houston Pearson - Disco Sax (Westbound)

plus the Decca Box "Circular Grooves Vol.2" for only £20.
