Had a problem with the PC yesterday and this morning but after using the Anti Virus program and Windows Washer it seems to have cured itself.  The problem was that the monitor  screen kept turning on and off when going to the net or reading emails, and last night the whole PC rebooted itself of without human intervention.I also replugged in the monitor and checked the cabling as well. So i now hopes it syats fine. Menwhile i have just ported all my music databAse on to the external hard drive, which already hosts my mp3 collection. I don't fancy typing in over 3000 entries again should i have a problem with the main PC drive!

A day off today.Got up at 1 am and i feel alot fresher too.

Tomorrow is my trip to Manchester anyway,so i am getting my myself prepared for the journey ahead,so to speak.  I had muted the idea of going to London today to clear some more vinyl for other vinyl  stuff.

In the post this morning -

Kenny Rankin - Inside (Little David LP)

Yesterday i was doing a mop-up survey at Wickes in Brighton but i needed mostly heavy DIY users which was a bit tricky getting, Managed to get five of these users in the end. It was also very quiet for them anyway,so i think i did well to get that many.

The current financial crlsis in the world would have not happened if there had been greater regulaion in the first place, the banks only have themselves to blaim for the disaster, and should not have given themselves   such huge pay increses. They also need to understand the products that they sell, especially when that product is high risk and complex.

It will mean even tighter credit and slower economic behaviour, but that may be a good thing, as we all come to adjust to the new factors out there.

Just used an Amazon voucher from Toluna (internet survey company) worth ten quid to get a CD on the Honest Jons lable.Should be with me next few days.

Sad to hear the death of Rick Wight of Pink Floyd last night waching the Sky TV news in some pub (Weatherspoons in Brighton to be precise). Those early Floyd albums up to Ummagumma and Meddle were the best, especially the first two with Syd Barrett.

I have put my Technic decks into the battle position as this is the position they are in at The Quadrant pub. Moreover, i have now moved the mixer from underneath to the table top as it is easier to use and get at. This also means that the PC monitor is easier to read, and less high up.It was perched precariously on a candle set box.

Just been down my local for a pint of grog , Dark Star Festival Ale, another winner from this Ansty brewery.
