Yestreday up in London to do a focus face to face intervview about a new website for the government which is in development. One hour giving my opinions on the look and feel of the website and earned fifty quid for it. Thanks to GC to alerting me to that one.

It was done at the the Tea Building in Shoreditch High Street. A strange building indeed which at one time was an East London tea importer.

Afterwards i had a mystery shop to do at The Goose in Walthamstowe. Had a burger and chips with a lager. Very filling  it was too.

Before all that went over to Notting Hill to MVE. The Soundtarck dept. in a separate shop has closed down now and all the DVDs,videos,soundtrack CDs and albums have been moved to the oher remaining departments. So even the downturn is affecting Music and Video Exchange.

Exchanged some old vinyl and got these -

Butterfield 8 - Watermelon Man (Go! 12" 1988)
East Coast Offering - Dartagnon (MCA 12" 1984)
Willie Bobo - Spanish Grease (Verve 12" 2002)
Various Artists - Latin 2 Jazz Vol.2 (BGP LP 1989)
McCoy Tyner - Time For Tyner (Blue Note LP 1986
)

Only had to put a pound extra to get this selection from the exchange.

The last few days have been quite amazing to watch and see history unfolding. America has taken a definite step in the right direction away from the disaster years of the Bush administration. It was a landslide victory for Obama and a resounding slap to the Republicans who held sway in the last eight years. I am very pleased with the outcome but the months ahead will be tough for any incumbent president. I wish Obama the best.
