Last night did a DJ set at The Eastern pub with Ben,Luke, the guy from Rare Kind Records and another guy, so we took turns in spinning some great vinyl. This was my playlist - in no particular order -

It was a fascinating evening listening to some records from the other guys and hearing them for the first time. This will mean another trip to London to exchange records and replenish my collection with more pysche ,prog and funky grooves

A compilation of rare funk from the 60s and 70s lovingly restored by the people at Stomes Throw, specifically Peanut Butter Wolf,and well annotated info in the gatefold sleeve. One for tomorrow's DJ set at The Northern Lights brasserie.

Badass Funk

This "16 Funky Corners" LP is badass funk of the highest order - here is just  a sample of it. A track by the Soul Vibrations called "The Bump". One for pissed_pacifist  to strut the butt too!
