Another charity shop forage today. This time Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath starting with the latter town first. Record-wise totally crap and as usual disappointing. Not even the books gave me an ounce of inspiration. GC was doing some test purchases anyway and we did not stay in Haywards Heath for too long. I posted two Cds from my Discogs sales before we left the town.
Burgess Hill was also devoid of decent records to buy,and again, the books did not fare that much better until we came to the Cancer Research shop. She had to buy items to total exactly £5 so we bought three books, one of them being a Thames and Hudson World of Art book "The Impressionists At First Hand" (for £1.50) ,the other two being novels. She also found a cheap replacement cafetiere for £3 for one that got broken in the dishwasher. Result!
Felt very sleepy afterwards.
