I would keep it for myself. I think i would keep to the same parents from birth, but definitely would want to keep my memories from my current life, whether good or bad. The do-over would allow me to take the paths i failed to make the first time round. One of these paths would be more better educated when i was younger, as my brother always seemed to be cleverer than i, and we were streamed into different schools because of it.

I would have also kept the 800 soul singles i had in the seventies as many of those fairly rare items then would be worth lots more now. I even had the original "Tainted Love" by Gloria Jones , which is now dificult to find. Hindsight is such a beast of burden.

My perfect ideal weekend is simply to go with the flow of what the day brings and hence unstructured. The only time i would give the days some clarity and structure is when i know i have to do a job over the weekend, such as this one in Slough which i am doing the following Sunday. This weekend was a perfect example of an unstructured weekend and i enjoyed it.

Continuing from the theme of an unstructured weekend, i decided on a whim to visit GC for the early evening to watch the Brazil v Ivory Coast match, as she texted me earlier wanting to know what matches were on this day. Since i introduced football to her she has become quite mad for it with the same kind of devotion she gives to the Killers. Her knowledge may be limited at the moment , especially with the offside rule, but given a few months i reckon she could answer the Sports section on Eggheads quite well (assuming football questions come up).

Most of the day was spent feeling tired from lack of sleep the previous night, or due to the fact that i was somewhat wasted from the Dj night. I walked down to a Cafe Nero and had a short macchiato to help me freshen up. I then perambulated the North Laines and dropped into the Oxfam shop and bought "Twilight and Philosophy" (John Wiley) for £2.49. I thought i could sell it quickly on Play Trade as vampires seem to be all the rage at the moment.

Then i watched on the laptop the Patrick Keiller documentary DVD  "London" (BFI ), which i sold on Play Trade and will
post Monday.

Then I picked up my records from Friday at the Northern Lights and had reindeer for my dinner.

Overall, a nice relaxing weekend.
