Free Food amd Drinks
Jul. 31st, 2010 08:58 amWednesday I went to Shoreham to do a mystery shop. I visited the Waterside Inn and had an 8 oz. Rump steak washed down with a large Merlot red wine followed by coffee. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious.
Whilst in Shoreham I picked up three Lps from a charity shop , all in excellemt condition, for only 50 pence each. They are -
The Manhattan Transfer - Pastiche
Beethoven - Symphony No.8 and 9 - Berlin Philharmonic / Karajan
Beethoven - Symphony No. 6 - New Philharmonia Orchestra / Guilini
Thursday evening and yesterday, GC and I did some mystery shops to do with Courvoisier and on the Thursday night we had two drinks each gratis (at My Hotel and Blanche House) ,so I had two Vodka Martinis, one with an olive and the other with a twist of lemon, both shaken not stirred, just like the way James Bond has it! Cool!
We love things free!
