Writer's Block: Transmogrified

Well, after seeing how my cousin's two cats are looked after and fed i would love to transmogrify to a cat.

Books and Other Things

Another book arrived in the post the other day from Play.com as I had about a fiver on my Play Trade account which I decided to spend. Thus I ordered two books , Jeremy Clarkson “I Know You Got Soul” (which came yesterday) and another by my favourite cultural commentator / philosopher Slavoj Zizek, which has yet to arrive.

I am currently reading “The Fry Chronicles” an autobiography by Stephen Fry, which Tim gave me as a belated Xmas present.

We both love his TV series “QI” and I enjoyed his documentary about his love for the music of Wagner.

Concurrent with reading his book, I am also in the middle of reading “Breakfast With Socrates” and “The QI Book Of The Dead”.

I have also started Zizeks'’ “The Sublime Object Of Ideology” as I have already completed devouring his “Violence” paperback.

I tend have a number of books on the go at any one time and hence use a number of bookmarks lodged in them. Oxfam did some colourful card bookmarks which are free to pick up from their shops but now they have stopped supplying them.

This evening I will be watching “Primeval” , another TV programme my cousin hates , so he will borrowing my 3 Mobile dongle whilst I watch it. His wi-fi internet is not working so I having to use the dongle to connect to the internet..

It is FA Cup day and Brighton march on with a resounding victory over Watford away. They held on to a 1-0 win. Congratulations also goes to Crawley who were away to Torquay and won 1-0 making them the first non-league team to get to the Fifth round for 17 years. That is the magic of the F.A. Cup !!

Last night I watched Al Murray (The Pub Landlord) Live at the O2 Arena on the Dave channel I haven’t laughed so much for so long and now I can categorically say I am a fan!
