Ashford Visit

This morning I took a trip to Ashford to do some mystery shopping and to enjoy the beauty of the Kent countryside.

Arrived in Ashford just after 10 am after stopping in Faversham to pick up some shag.

Whilst in Ashford I perused the charity shops and bought two books for a quid each and two T shirts. The books are -

Tony Benn “Free At Last, Diaries 1991-2001” (Arrow)
Alexander Aciman and Emmett Rensin “Twitterature, The World's Greatest Books Retold Through Twitter” (Penguin)

I had a beer in the Wetherspoons pub before catching the next bus to Canterbury via the lovely village of Wye.

Had a look around the cathedral city.

I then caught the express bus back to Faversham.

Had a pint of that Jamaican Stout in the Leading Light pub, another Wetherspoons outlet.

Exchanged some books for another folio in the antiquarian hallows of Past Sentence. Picked up a copy of “Poems of The Underground, Illustrated Edition”(Cassell) ,and just before alighting the bus back to Teynham, bought Tim's present for his birthday last Friday, a biography of Freddie Flintoff.
