Back in Brighton Again
Apr. 14th, 2011 11:11 pmA short weekend visit to Brighton started today after having a drink with Tim midday at The Dover Castle pub.
Last night was Tim's usual midweek visit to the pub and I tagged along. We dropped in just after 10 pm and staggered out again at 3.25 am. Jimbo's poker night just finished five minutes later.
A good journey, despite missing one bus connection, as the Maidstone bus got somewhat delayed with heavy traffic, meaning a bit of a wait in Maidstone. Left Teynham just after three and alighted at St. Peters Church at about 8.20 pm, delighted to be back in this most swinging groovy city.
Tomorrow a trip to Worthing and a slap up evening meal in town.
