Did the usual fortnightly visit to Sittingbourne , and picked up some wild bird seed for the garden. Also, picked up a 12” single for 69p , the classic “Do What You Wanna Do” by T Connection (TK Records) – one of those storming Miami based dancers from the late seventies!
Picked up a copy of Noam Chomsky's book “Rogue States” for a quid in a charity shop. A bit chuffed getting this one, as his books tend to get snapped up quickly whenever they appear dead cheap.
Tonight been watching BBC 4 and their music documentaries starting from 9pm with Ann Nightingale , the only decent DJ left on Radio 1, now that John Peel departed this world. Later on, there is a documentary on prog rock, but I doubt I will be able to stay awake for it, since it does not begin till midnight, and I do feel I have seen it before. Checking the BBC website , the programme has been on before many times since it was first shown way back in 2009. So I think I will retire to bed soon.
