Dr.Who Babes

We went up for a sneaky vino night with Phil at the pub and amongst the discussions on various topics the Dr..Who series came up and whom was your favourite Doctor going from William Hartnell right through to Matt Smith. For Spot it was Tom Baker, and for Phil it was Christopher Eggleston, and for me and Phil it was possibly Jon Pertwee,because at that time the Doctor was earthbound and we meet for the first time the lovely Elizabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith , whom reappears in an episode with David Tennant and Freema Agyeman. Albeit, what this digression leads to is that I fancied both these wonderful actresses, and Sladen was still stunning in her mature years before her untimely death.

Breakfast Beer and Music

This morning Tim and I had breakfast at The Summoner in Sittingbourne. We had a beer with the meal as well, his was Guinness and mine was called Freeminer Speculation Ale (4.8 % ABV).

His money came in and he has bought a new washing machine , which will be installed on Saturday. The old one lasted for 19 years and is definitely on its last legs. He also bought a high quality knife set in Sainsburys.

Whilst in Sittingbourne I picked up a few vinyl records from the Save The Children charity shop to sell on Discogs. Ray Charles “Come Live With Me” (London 1974), BBC Sound Effects Vol.9 (BBC 1973) and a library music album on the Red Bus label. Sadly not a rare KPM,or Chappell library LP found.

I was going to go over to Faversham whilst Tim is in Canterbury as he wanted to get the Carter USM DVD, but decided to play some CDs instead -
