Since cousin felt very down this morning over the fact that his insurance money did not I decided to take him out for lunch. First of all I did a small visit to Sittingbourne and returned midday and then paid his fare to Canterbury. We had a gourmet burger each at The West Gate Inn, which is a Wetherspoons pub, doused with Guinness and a real ale for me. The ale was Wantsum's Millers Mirth (4.2% ABV). Wantsum is a micro brewer based in Canterbury.

After visiting another shop, Spot wanted to go to HMV but the place was closed due to an electrical fault, leaving him with apoplexy and wondering why God had smote him.

We then ended up at the Bat and Crown pub where I had a couple of pints of Gadds Dark Conspiracy (4.9% ABV) and he had his usual Guinness.

Got back in time to have toast and Marmite before Celebrity Mastermind started.
