Gumbo Stew
Mar. 23rd, 2012 12:18 pmMy brother
coming42 sent me a little item in the post this week, with the brand logo of Filofax on it. It is a simulated leather bound note book with pen. He has been clearing out some items from his office, and this is one item he never used.
I have yet to find a use for it, but at some point I know it will be handy.
I looked at other tracks on my combined hard drives which might be good and go down well at the TBB in May, for example, some Dr.John, Dr.Feelgood, and a few tracks from a compilation called “Gumbo Stew”.
The other day I tried to burn a CD on the laptop, but it failed. I bought some cheap Kodak CDR’s from Asda whilst I was in Ashford on Monday, and I wondered if the discs are faulty or that my laptop drive, whilst playing CD’s and DVD’s is fine, for some reason will not burn CD’s.
So as far as the TBB is concerned I think I will bring the laptop and just play a pre-defined set of tracks, including some to please my cousin
