In The Garden

This afternoon I have been out in the garden , reading a book or two, and drinking some wine, and relaxing with the pipe. Then for a moment I fell asleep , after the wine had been drunk. We had it with our lunch, another tasty crunchy salad with bacon and bits of Stilton cheese.

I read a few chapters from the Bruce Chatwin book “The Songlines” and a couple from the Camilla Gibb book “Sweetness In The Belly”.

Gutted to hear that Brighton got thumped 6 – 0 by West Ham today, but pleased to see Reading get promoted back to the Premiership.

Oh and finally nice to see another non-league team reach the football league for next season – welcome Fleetwood Town.
