Book Me A Trip To Whitstable
Apr. 13th, 2012 10:27 pmIt has been a very positive day. Weather has remained good , if a little breezy. My book tokens from GFK Media arrived in the post this morning alongside my Amazon reward book from the focus group follow up I did online.
The book I ordered was “Caravaggio, A Life Sacred and Profane” by Andrew Graham-Dixon (Penguin).
I did a visit in Whitstable today and beforehand went to Waterstones in Canterbury to spend the two pound book token. I bought an exclusive paperback two for the price of one offer , John Niven “Kill Your Friends” (Vintage) followed by his next book “The Second Coming” (Vintage).
I also picked up some cheap charity shop sourced books for under a quid -
DBC Pierre “Lights Out In Wonderland” (Faber)
Mil Millington “A Certain Chemistry” (Phoenix)
Tomorrow will be spent reading and catching up with the parts of the newspaper I have not read.
