Yesterday i went to Chatham for a cafe visit.I have been there before and is located in the Docklands Shopping Centre. Had a Sydney Hanger ciabatta and a creamy coffee.

I then popped into Works within the same complex and bought two books in the sale for 49 pence each.

Picked up some more free records in Rainham, including a nice Tommy Smith “Peeping Tom” LP on Blue Note, as well as a  "Top BBC TV Themes" compilation which includes "Stone Fox Chase" by Area Code 615, the Old Grey Whistle Test theme tune.

Well it’s my birthday today. 21 again, and it’s bloody raining. Oh well, c’est la vie!

Well the weather had some influence on what i did today. It rained this morning but the afternoon turned out better and thus i popped over to Faversham. Had a couple of ciders in Wetherspoons.

Bought a book from the Faversham Society shop for £1.50, a hardback called “They Never Said That”, which is a book of fake quotes, misquotes and misleading attributions (Oxford University Press). Plus, i sold some unwanted books down at Past Sentence.

One such misquote is that famous line from Hamlet, which correctly is “Alas! poor Yorick!I knew him,Horatio.”, and does not contain the word “well” after the “I knew him”.

So not much really for my birthday. It will all kick off this Saturday when Mike comes down.
