No, not the number of CDs I have, that you have to times by ten at least, but my age today. Eek, I know! Anyway, the weather is stubbornly dull and overcast and much like yesterday. At least no rain.

But let's get on with the good news instead -
Great cards from my brother and the cat who seems to be able to write a birthday card. Clever cat.



My brother coming42 sent me a wonderful 5CD box of Vivaldi's Complete Bassoon Concertos (first mentioned in Wire way back in 1991) but now all in one box.
Whilst in Faversham yesterday completing the last day on the exit survey, I picked up there more CDs from Oxfam for £1.98 - all Vivaldi. Two selections of his sacred music and an early opera.



So today is a day of relaxation, music listening and if the sun should come out by the afternoon - I know, and pigs might fly - a few drinks with Ewart outside the Bear pub.

Let the listening begin.

And i bought this in Past Sentence the other day.

It was Nick's Birthday bash at The Evening Star pub last night. turned 55 and is known as the boot fair bookseller.

Drunk quite a few Six Hop Ales (6.5% ABV) and got complimented on looking younger than my real age (42) by another guy who is ten years younger but looks alot older. Well, it is all that moisturiser i use - i swear by Nivea darlings.

Nick had some absoultely yummy sausages to go round at 9pm - glazed in honey and just tasty as hell - and of course they went very quickly. Only managed to get one!

It was a 60's and 70's theme night and two of the girls were dressed as hippy chicks. I had a bandana and open toed sandels, and had a quick spliff round the corner beforehand with Chris and Nigel. I did a double CD mix of groovy tunes from the late 60's and early 70's for the bash including a couple of Jefferson Airplane and Dononvan numbers as both are Nick's favourites.

Left about 11 pm and feeliong fine today as i only had three pints all night. Yeah,honestly guv!
