The Outside Beckons
Jun. 25th, 2012 02:54 pmIt was too overcast to try to top up the tan today. White and grey bilious clouds shrouded the sun from emerging its penetrating rays and after awhile I gave up sitting in the garden. It might poke its face a bit later but for now I am content just surfing the net.
I had confirmation of that single I sold to the USA which went for eighty quid and the guy thanked me for a spot on evaluation of the record’s condition.. I could do with one of these big sales each week, but alas, don’t have enough rare stuff to do it.
I am up to page 279 on the Shadow of The Wind book which is slightly over half way.. It has been one difficult to put down and crop reading.
To sum up, I would rather do anything than suffer the tennis on the television which is on for the next two weeks. The outside beckons again.

BBC Records
Jun. 25th, 2012 05:44 pmI was perusing the verygoodplus website and in their charts forum I noticed one on BBC Records, and I scoured the whole thread to see if anybody mentioned the Young Generation LP, and apparently not. I then decided to go through what I have picked up dirt cheap or free and these are the ones I have -
The Young Generation - s/t
Ennio Morricone “Mai Chai”
which includes “A Fistful of Dynamite” and “”My Name Is Nobody”
Top BBC TV Themes
Includes Area Code 615 “Stone Fox Chase”, the original Old Grey Whistle Stop tune.

Stereo Sound Effects No.. 9

The other two in this picture are not BBC Records , so i really do not why i included them. One is an EMI Sound Effects LP and the Cy Payne LP on Contour does include the Magic Roundabout theme and "Barnacle Bill" from Blue Peter.
Will look out for more dead cheap or free BBC LP's , so a journey to Rainham is on the cards.
