Yesterday Graeme and Mike came down to visit. This is Graeme’s first visit to Teynham, and to our local pub, the Dover Castle Inn.
Last evening we had lamb stew with dumplings. The lamb was succulent and juicy and the gravy in the stew made everything mouth-wateringly good. Infact, Phil had made enough for two days worth of stew, and we had a “doggy bag” take out for cousin’s lunch the next day.
Today I will be going with Mike and Graeme back to the Sussex coast. They will drop me off at Seaford , and Tuesday we will be having the lunch club, which may well be La Tasca again, despite the slow service last time.
