Vinyl Finds
Jan. 12th, 2013 11:43 pmA trip to Whitstable and Herne Bay today, basically two visits with one of them being a Wetherspoons visit to that wonderful Art Deco building, The Peter Cushing. I had a mixed grill there washed down with a Theakston's Old Peculiar (5.6 % ABV).

This pub has loads of film stills of the said actor.
I also went to Herne Bay but should have checked the chemist's website to confirm their opening hours as when I got there they were closed. Borno's is only open till 1 pm on a Saturday. Will do that one on Thursday now.
Beforehand, picked up four jazz albums and an oddity for 25p each from a charity shop. One of the jazz albums is worth £20 on Discogs.
Eddie Thompson Trio & Spike Robinson – At Chesters (Hep 1985)
Swingle Singers & The Modern Jazz Quartet – Place Vendrome (Philips 1966)
Booker Little – Victory And Sorrow (Affinity 1984)
John Dankworth & Guests – Zodiac Variations (Fontana 1966)

and the oddity -
Various Artists - Qantastic, There's Music In The Air vol. 2 (EMI N.Z. 1976)

which has a version of “Soul Coaxing” by the Norrie Paramor Orchestra.
