The Canterbury Correlation
Mar. 13th, 2013 09:10 pmA couple of visits done in Canterbury today. On the way I picked up some pipe tobacco in Faversham, and noticed that my favourite charity shop was open. They normally are closed on a Wednesday but due to the outside being repainted they must have decided to open up. This was a good move since I picked up a copy of Sarah Waters "Tipping The Velvet" for 25 pence.
It was less chilly but once I completed the visits I decided to scurry back to base. Glad I did too, as it was about to snow again as soon as I arrived in Teynham.
In two weeks I shall be back on the Sussex coast and will be looking forward to sampling some lovely real ales at The Evening Star during my week sojourn.

Hopefully, I would like to catch up with my Finnish mate over the period, as well as looking forward to having convivial company with the first FTLC (Floating Tuesday or Thursday Lunch Club) of the year.
