Wharf, Bromley and Brighton
Mar. 27th, 2013 08:29 pmWell folks, had a long busy day Tuesday up in the capital, doing a number of visits first in Bromley and then in Canary Wharf.
I popped into Bromley to do a Wetherspoons visit and then one at Next. Then I took the train and DLR to get to Canary Wharf and did a couple of visits around Canary Wharf and ended up at another Wetherspoons nearby at the West India Dock called the Ledger Inn.

I then went over to Notting Hill to find some cheap CD's at Music and Video Exchange and picked up the following for a quid each -
Quantic - Apricot Morning (Tru Thoughts)
Chase and Status - No More Idols (Mercury)
Kruder and Dorfmeister - DJ Kicks (K!)
Jaga Jazzist - The Stix (Ninja Tune)
They have now got rid of the Soul and Jazz shop and put all th stuff upstairs in the Rock and Pop shop, so basically less space for quality grooves.
Thus today i travelled by bus to start my sojourn on the Sussex coast and currently as I write ensconced in the Evening Star trying some ales , as GC is over in Hove and will pick up at around 9.50 pm.

Trafalgar Street on the way to the top end in Surrey Street where the Evening Star resides.

The splendid Evening Star pub
So far i have had a pint and and a half of the Dark Star Six Hop Ale (6.5 % ABV) and a half of the Brodies and D.S Saison Special (7.0% ABV)

Then a lower strength ale to finish off with perhaps.
