The Party Is Over

Well, Xmas Day is over. We had a great lunch at home. Washed down with lovely wine and a beer beforehand plus finishing off the Bushmells whisky.Then topped it to a visit to our local pub as run by Phil. The cheese board was still out on a table so i had some of that, especially the chill cheese.

This will be the last Xmas Phil does at the Dover Castle after 19 years of doing it. Whatever venture he does next i wish him well.

Existential Cheese

Last night due to the paucity of good television Spot and I went up to the Dover Castle Inn pub to have a chat with Phil. Max and Emily were there as well. There was a cheese board available in which the Rickwoods would have ordered and there was plenty of cheeses available and  a pate , plus some biscuits. I opted for the chill cheese and some Stilton. Washed down with a few pints of the Master Brew..

It was a good convivial evening with Max and I getting very philosophical and existentialist  I think we have both read from the books of Sartre and Camus.
