Well after a fine lovely sunny afternoon yesterday the weather has gone back to the dreary monotonous rain soaked event. Extreme weather warnings are out and i must admit i do not fancy travelling back to Kent today. Cousin is expecting me back and i still have plenty of covert visits i can do. At least three of them in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells on the bus journey back.

I am not certain what to do.

Isn't  it funny that Mr Cameron only gets into action when the floods affect his beloved rich and moneyed  Home Counties. This shambolic government whom not only cut a billion from the funding to the environment agency last year but also criticize them for not doing more, tended to sit on their arses than do any proactive mobilization .

Excuse me guys, if you didn't pull  much needed funding from them in the first place maybe the situation would not be so bad. This is a national disaster,

It is the affects of global warming but also a shift t in the earth's nutation as it orbits the Sun. This  is a periodical slight shift of the axis which does affect things like the Gulf stream and so on. It is all cyclical , and whilst we have added to the biosphere in terms of pollutants and our carbon footprint the earth does go through such cycles. Even the Thames has been frozen a few centuries to allow ice skating and walking across it.
I wonder if he spring into action if it happened up north. Classless society my arse? This lot is more pandering to their own self vested interests than the last lot of right wing bastards.
