Well after a very wet start to the day when i departed  Seaford just after midday i eventually arrived back during the evening., having stopped off at Crowborough to do a covert shop and then dinner in Maidstone. However, uncertain of the next twenty four hours..

Francoise Sagan "The Unmade Bed" (Hesperus Press)

I really enjoyed reading this fairly short novel. Sagan has produced a great love slightly verbose love story .The book is about a passionate relationship between a young successful playwright,Edouard, and a beautiful struggling actress,Beatrice. What I liked was that Sagan only had a handful of characters whom she developed. You get to know the characters quite well and understand where their emotions originate. The novel is set in Paris which adds to the romantic background, especially as yesterday was valentine's Day. I did really enjoy this book, and a page turner, in which i finished the book within two days as it was easy to read and I honestly could not put it down.
