Tony Benn RIP
Mar. 14th, 2014 08:16 amIt is sad to hear the news of the death of Tony Benn. He was a true statesman, and orator, with an intellectual rigour that many of his colleagues lack.. He was a forthright socialist and remained so whilst many of the Labour party moved away from their socialist ideals towards a centre right.. He will be missed.
For now, all i will say, is that i recommend you read his diaries to get a flavour of the man , for those across the pond who have not heard of him.
