Had a lift from Phil into Sittingbourne this morning so i had plenty of time before my eleven o'clock meet up.Managed to get some expenses from them as well.
It has been a really warm sunny day so i walked back afterwards.
Just awoke from an afternoon siesta.
Feeling hungry now, so meat pie rice and gravy for dinner.

Jim Powell "Derrida For Beginners" (Writers And Readers)

A dialectical discussion of Derrida that, of course, refuses to resolve itself. I don't see this as being particularly useful to someone who hasn't read any philosophy, but for those who have read Barthes, Marx or Hegel than this is a good primer.
A "beginner" would have to be someone who is ready to move past the Matrix movies, perhaps, having read the media tie-ins. The cartoons don't really add anything to the text, other than a bit of the grotesque ( in a Hogarthian sense) and the odd chart here and there.
I would suggest that the Oxford Short Introduction series on Derrida a better choice, and one which is on my list to read.
