Finally got some sleep despite having to lay on top of the bed for most of the night, or on top of the duvet {stark naked}.
Having to be up early today as i have an exit survey to do down at TK Maxx in High Brooms. A six hour shift too.
Not certain how i will get there yet as Arriva buses in their wisdom do not run a service going Maidstone way from Faversham til ten this morning. May have to go part of the way by train if i need to get to High Brooms for around eleven. Crazy isn't it?
It would not happen with Brighton & Hove buses if i wanted to get from Brighton to Eastbourne on a Saturday for example.
I could get to Sittingbourne for 9 pm but the service is run by Chalkwell and they do not use Explorer tickets nor accept them as a journey. Fucking frustrating, as all the other operators such as Stagecoach and Regency do, although sometimes i have had heated discussions with Stagecoach bus drivers who say things like "Sorry mate it is Arriva not ours", despite the fact that both companies run the Explorer ticket scheme. Theoretically on one of these Explorers i could travel the whole of Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire if i so wished.
Current cost of Explorer Ticket -
Unfortunately B&H buses are now the most expensive! On Wednesday i shall be travelling to Brighton for the monthly lunch club, a mere £7, from the Arriva bus to Tunbridge Wells then and B&H buses to Brighton. In their favour, Brighton & Hove buses will accept any Explorer tickets from other bus companies without a problem.
