After a fraught morning in "teh ossif", as [livejournal.com profile] cmcmck would say, i took the bus to Faversham yesterday. Sold a few books , and then caught the bus to Canterbury and onward to Folkstone. I was going to do the cinema visit but that will have to be deferred to another day.

I visited the Cheriton end of Folkstone to covertly shop a Sue Ryder store.

There were quite a few charity shops along this road.
Picked up the following books for a fiver.

I then looked around Folkstone town centre and got somewhat distracted by the different pubs and ended up doing nothing else.  It soon became the early evening so i took a bus back to finish the evening with a mystery shop at The  Leading Light pub in Faversham. I had an Aberdeen Angus steak washed down with a glass of the house red and a pint of Wantsum Turbulent Priest.

I also took other pictures which i shall load up in a following post.

No wonder i got distracted.

The Samuel Peto pub is very impressive ,and hence, i just had to snap away whilst  drinking two pints of the six per cent Nelson's Blood ale. Sir Samuel Mortoin Peto (4 August 1809 – 13 November 1889) was an English entrepreneur, civil engineer and railway developer.

Well impressed.
