I had to pop into Sittingbourne early today but whilst in the town i fopund some bargains for a quid or less, a book and a CD as follows -

In particular , the Super Sessions CD by Mike Broomflled , Al Kooper and Stephen Stills for a quid.  This is one of the best jam sessions in rock and blues ever.

gretp

This is the book i found for fifty pence.

Amazing finds.

So after a few beers at the local Wetherspoons, a pint  of Abbott Reserve and a Sixpoint Bengali Tiger,  i am soending some time in the Office , mostly printing out forthcoming shops i am doing from tomorrow onwards.

The weather is absolutely lovely again, although the forecast is not so good. We shall see.

I took the camera with me in Sittingbourne on the off chance i might need it. Glad i did.

Some ladies were coming down the road whilst i was waiting for a bus back home handing out leaftets in relation with a community project to do with diversity. They were dressed in very colourful African costumes.EWell i presume they were as my fashion sense is zilch.

I then took a photo of East Street  looking towards the top end of the  town.

This evening, apart from watching Mastermind, i listened to some of my recent CD purchases.

The first one was the Mike Butterfield, Al Kooper and Stephen Stills CD Super Sessions. An excellent  blues and jazz drenched rock album with a superb eleven minute version of Season Of The Witch.

I then listened to a Tom Petty CD called Wildflower ,which has a number of tracks that i enjoyed. Finally, i ended the relaxing mood with Hummel's Piano Conerto No. 2 & 3. This version is by the Budapest Chamber Orchestra on th excellent Naxos label.
