Hornet's Nest

Been listening to another BBC Audio Drama on Radio 4 Extra, a Tom Baker Dr.Who series called Hornet's Nest , in ten half hour parts with the final two episodes on Xmas day and Boxing Day.

Looking forward to the TV Xmas Dr. Who Special as well.

Merry Crimbles

Merry crimbles folks. Got some nice stuff for Xmas. A CD of Northern Soul classics, a six CD set of Miles Davis and Gil Evans recordings, which includes the jazz version of Porgy & Bess and Sketches of Spain. Plus a special bottle of beer from Robinsons with a pint glass based on metal band Iron Maiden.

Robinsons are well known for their high strength Old Tom beer at a stinking 8.0 % ABV, but thankfully this one called Trooper is a mere 4.7 % ABV.

Popped around to Colin's abode and gave him a jazz Cd , a double of the music of Stan Getz, since last night, to wind up Tim, my cousin, he mentioned that he likes jazz.

Listening to the Northern Soul Collection. at the moment.
