After The Cut

Egads! That power cut we hsd started at 5.30 pm , and the electricity board men only managed to get the power back on at 1.15 am in the morning! All that tome without juice! It was the second power cut in recent days, as apparently we had one on the Saturday whilst i was down in Hythe doing my exit poll survey.

In the end, after a couple of beers at the Dover Castle, i went to bed sround ten.

Finally restored, and now i am wide awake again.

Best news of all, the parcel from America arrived at just before four. I did not expect it to be so heavy but with five seasons of Angel and seven of Buffy i will have a feast of beastly cult TV to watch over the coming weeks.



I might need a local time dilation phenomenon to get through this extravaganza!

First flurry of snow on the ground this morning. As far as i am concerned it can go away , quickly! Although at the moment it is just a lining of snow - oops, that sounded like a drug allusion but was not meant to be.
